General description: The University of Trento (16,000 students, about 600 professors and researchers) placed first among the 25 Italian universities included in the European Teaching Rankings 2018. The Department of Physics consists of about 50 researchers and professors along with about 40 units of technical and administrative staff. About 40 PhD students and several fellows and visitors are also associated with the Department.
Persons involved in PIONEER:
Paolo Tosi is the head of the laboratory of Atomic and Molecular Physics at the Department of Physics of UNITN. His research focuses on the reaction dynamics of molecular systems and the chemical-physics of plasma for energetic/technological applications.
